The Royal British Legion and Gardman have joined forces for a second year in the hope of raising an even larger donation amount of £350,000 for the Armed Forces community.

Gardman Ltd, the UK’s leading garden product wholesaler, first partnered with the Legion in August 2016 and through sales of their Cast Iron Poppy Feeder and Wild Bird Seed they managed to raise an astonishing £218,359 to help us continue our vital work with the Armed Forces community.

In celebration of the partnership, Gardman also donated gardening and bird care kits to Legion Care Homes and Break Centres, so that our beneficiaries can get more out of their outdoor areas.

We are pleased to announce that this year Gardman Ltd is expanding the successful range to include three beautiful new Poppy products.

2017 Gardman Poppy Range

Gardman's poppy themed products are available in independent and chain garden centres across the UK, as well as in B&Q and Homebase.

Matt Easters, Head of Wild Bird Care at Gardman, said: “We’re so proud to be partnering with The Royal British Legion for a consecutive year and hope we can make an even bigger difference to the Armed Forces community and their families. The poppy is an iconic symbol in relation to our Armed Forces and because we share a core customer demographic with the British Legion, we expect our beautiful poppy range to prove very popular.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to not only increase sales and engagement for our brand by bringing in new customers, but more importantly we will be helping to improve the lives of our Service people, as well as ensuring our wild birds are cared for.”
