By volunteering with us you can help change the lives of people in the Armed Forces community.
As one of our volunteers you will help serving and ex-serving personnel and their families from all walks of life.
Ex-serviceman Terence Lake needed help at home after suffering a stroke and having his home burgled.

Make a difference
From directly supporting people in one of our care homes or Pop In Centres, to hitting the streets as one of our amazing poppy collectors, there are many ways you can get involved.
As well as making a huge difference to people’s lives, volunteering with the Royal British Legion can help you:
- Meet like-minded people and make friends
- Get involved in your local community
- Increase your confidence and self-esteem
- Learn new or improve existing skills
- Gain valuable experience
However much time you can give, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved as a volunteer and make a difference.
