Poppy Appeal Collector

As a collector you will take donations from the public at various locations and events in your local area during the Poppy Appeal in October and November, and at other fundraising events throughout the year.

Key skills and experience

  • Approachable, enthusiastic and a confident communicator
  • Dependable, reliable and flexible
  • Interest in RBL's work and sharing it with the public
  • Willing to follow RBL policies, including safeguarding, data protection, health & safety, and diversity & inclusion.

Poppy Appeal Organiser

You'll be a key point of contact for your community before, during and after the Poppy Appeal, and will help raise awareness of the services and support the Royal British Legion provides for the Armed Forces community.

Key skills and experience

  • Planning and coordinating people and resources
  • Building lasting relationships with individuals and groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Confident with email, websites and online documents
  • Excellent time management, working independently or leading a team
  • Willing to follow RBL policies, including safeguarding, data protection, health & safety, and diversity & inclusion.
