Maurice House

Maurice House House in Kent is one of The Royal British Legion’s Care Homes. Like every one of the Legion's Care Homes, we are exclusive to ex-Service people and their dependents.

The combination of its lovely position in Broadstairs on the Kent coast, beautiful gardens and friendly welcome make Maurice House feel like a real home from home for all our residents. What sets us apart is the extra effort we put into ensuring all of our residents can share in the enjoyment of life at Maurice House.

Poppy Lodge, our residential Dementia Care Unit, opened in March 2016. There are 30 single bedrooms, all with en suite / shower facilities. The Lodge has three wings of 10 bedrooms leading into a central hub area. Each wing has its own lounge, dining room and bathroom. The central hub has a café, hairdresser and an activity area.
