Our Pop In Centres can be found along High Street’s across the UK. Our team will be there to welcome you, answer your questions as well as provide expert advice and guidance.

The North of England

We have four Pop In Centres across the North of England. If you're not able to travel to reach us, call our team on 0808 802 8080 to find out about services and support near you.

Pop in to Leeds

You can find our Pop In centre at 73-75 Albion Street, Leeds LS1 5AA. 

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.  

Arrive by bus: we're right in the City Centre so there are extensive bus links.

Arrive by train: you can find us just short walk (five minutes) from Leeds Station.

Pop in to Liverpool

Our Liverpool Pop In centre can be found at the same location as our Cheshire and Merseyside Area Office at 25-31 Williamson Street, Liverpool L1 1EB.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: a number of bus routes stop nearby Sir Thomas Street.

Arrive by train: Liverpool Lime Street, Liverpool Central, Liverpool James Street and Moorfields stations are all within a short walk.

Pop in to Manchester

Our Manchester Pop In centre is at 59 Cross Street, Manchester M2 4JW just around the corner from our Area Office on Princess Street.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. 

Arrive by bus: there are bus stops located nearby on Albert Square and on Princess Street. For more details about buses please check the Transport for Greater Manchester website or call Traveline on 0871 200 2233.

Arrive by train or Metrolink: if you are travelling to Manchester by train you can get a Metrolink tram from Piccadilly, Victoria and Deansgate train stations to St Peter's Square which are just a short walk away.

Arrive by car: Please note if you are using a Sat Nav please use the postcode M2 4DF. Parking can difficult near the office, however, you may be able to find a pay and display parking bay. There are also number of car parks in Manchester city centre operated by NCP. Contact them on 0845 050 70 80 or visit the NCP website to find out where they are and current charges.

Pop in to Newcastle

Visit our Newcastle Pop In centre at 101 Grainger Street, Newcastle NE1 5AE. 

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: our location is right in the City Centre so there are extensive bus links.

Arrive by train: we're just a short walk (approximately six minutes) from Newcastle Station.

The Midlands

As well as the local area, our Pop In Centres in the Midlands cover Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire.

Pop in to Derby

You can find our Derby Pop In centre at 18 St Peter's Street, Derby DE1 1SH.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: we're centrally located near Derby city bus station so there are lots of buses to choose from.

Arrive by train: we're approximately 30 minutes walk from Derby Railway Station. Follow the signs for the City Centre and St Peter's Quarter and we are situated opposite Tesco Express on the high street. Or you can catch a bus directly outside of the train station to the Bus Station in the City Centre.

Arrive by car: the closest car parks are the NCP Car Parks located on Colyear Street (DE1 1LA) and Becket Well Lane (DE1 1JW), just a short walk away.

Pop in to Birmingham

Our Birmingham Pop In centre is at 87 New Street, Birmingham B2 4BA.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: we're centrally located near New Street Station so there are lots of buses to choose from.

Arrive by train: we're only a short walk from New Street Station. Upon exiting the station, cross Stephenson Street to Temple Street and continue along Temple Street past the Shakespeare pub. Turn left onto New Street and continue until you reach our Pop In centre, on your left hand side. 

Arrive by car: the closest car parks are the NCP Car Park in St Jude’s Passage (B5 4AN) and Town Hall Multi Storey (B1 1TA).

The South of England

We have eight Pop In Centres across the South of England. Our friendly high street team will be on hand to help you access local services or find out how you can join the Legion near you. 

Pop in to Aylesbury

You can find our Aylesbury Pop In centre at 19-21 High Street, HP20 1SH. Our South East Midlands Area Office is also located above the Pop In Centre on the first floor.

Opening hours: 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday 

Arrive by bus: we're just a short walk (five minutes) from the Aylesbury Bus station so there are plenty of buses for you to choose from.

Arrive by train: we're also a short walk (ten minutes) from Aylesbury Station. Upon exiting the station walk up pass the Friars Square multi-storey car park on your right. Cross the dual carriageway at the pedestrian crossing and make your way through the covered walkway pastthe bus station and on to Friars Square. Go across the square past the courtroom and take the alleyway that comes out by McDonald's, turn left and our Pop In centre is located 50 metres up the High Street on the right hand side, just beyond WHSmith and before Costa Coffee.

Arrive by car: the nearest car parks are located at Cambridge Place (HP20 1DG), which is free for the first two hours (if a ticket is obtained from the machine) and less than a five minute walk from the office.

Pop in to Brighton

Our Brighton Pop In centre can be found at the same location as our South East Area Office in Hyperion House, 100-101 Queens Road, Brighton BN1 3XF.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: the stop outside the office is serviced by bus numbers 10, 21, 37B, 78 and 79 and there are also a number of alternative stops nearby.

Arrive by train: we are located only a few minutes walk from Brighton train station. There is also a regular Park & Ride service which goes from Withdean (just North of Brighton) to Brighton Station.

Arrive by car: there are a number of parking options across Brighton. Visit the Brighton & Hove City Council website for more information.

Pop in to Bristol

Our Bristol Pop In centre can be found at 60 Union Street, Bristol BS1 2DL. Our South West Midlands Area Office is also located at the same address.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. 

Arrive by bus: we're a two minute walk from Bristol bus station.

Arrive by train: we're just a 15 minute walk from Bristol station.

Arrive by car: disability parking is available nearby.

Pop in to Colchester

You can find our Colchester Pop In centre at 133 High Street, Colchester CO1 1SP.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: we're centrally located right beside the Angel Court ('Hippodrome') bus stop on the High Street or it's a short walk through the town from the Bus Station (Osborne St), if you get off there.

Arrive by train: we're a 10-15 minute walk from Colchester Town Rail Station or you can catch a 61 or 62 bus (there's a bus every ten minutes).

Arrive by car: the closest car parks are the NCP Car Park in Nunns Road (CO1 1EJ), Council Pay on Foot St Mary's Car Park (off Balkerne Hill, CO3 3BP) and Council Pay & Display St John's Car Park (off Southway, CO2 7BA).

Pop in to London

Our London Area Office and Pop In centre are both located at 199 Borough High St, London SE1 1AA.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. 

Arrive by bus: the following buses stop almost directly outside or across the road: 21, 35, 40, 133, 343.

Arrive by train: Borough tube station is a two minutes walk away and London Bridge station is not much further (approximately five minutes) from our Pop In centre.

Pop in Plymouth

Our Plymouth Pop In centre is at the same location as our Devon and Cornwall Area Office at 174 Armada Way, Plymouth PL1 1LB.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: the city centre provides three park and ride facilities and all buses drop off and pick up immediately outside our door. If entering the city from the North use the George Junction or Milehouse park and ride, from the East use the Coypool park and ride and if arriving from the West use the Milehouse facility.

The George park and ride service (PR1) starts at 6.30am from the George Junction via Milehouse every 12 minutes Monday to Saturday, until the last departure at 6pm. From the city centre (Royal Parade) the service starts at 7am and runs every 12 minutes until the last departure at 6.30pm. Journeys take approximately 25 minutes.

Coypool park and ride service (PR2) starts at 6.30am (Monday to Saturday excluding bank holidays). The last bus from Royal Parade back to Coypool is at 6.33pm. If you are using a Sat Nav to help you reach this location please use the postcode PL7 4TB. Journeys take approximately 15 minutes.

Milehouse park and ride service is combined with the George park and ride service. Passengers should catch the bus from the shelter on Outland Road. The service starts from Milehouse at 6.45am. The last bus from Royal Parade back to Milehouse is 6.30pm (Monday to Saturday). If you are using a Sat Nav to help you reach this location please use the postcode PL2 3DE. Journeys take approximately 15 minutes.

Arrive by train: Plymouth station is just a few minutes walk away.

Arrive by car: the main route to Plymouth from the North is via the M5 motorway and then continuing on the A38 Expressway via Exeter. Leave the A38 at Marsh Mills interchange and take the A374, which is clearly signed for the City Centre. From the West, leave the A38 at the Manadon Interchange and take the A386 into the city.

The nearest car parks are Mayflower Street East and Mayflower House Court car parks. Please note these tend to be busy. The next nearest parking is at Sainsbury’s. There is a time limit of two hours and charges apply. Drake Circus Shopping Centre also has ample parking and is just a few minutes walk away.

Pop in to Southampton

Our Southampton Pop In centre is at the same location as our Dorset and Hampshire Area Office at 104 Above Bar Street, Southampton SO14 7DT.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. 

Arrive by bus: a wide range of buses stop just outside our centre.

Arrive by train: Southampton Central train station is just ten minutes away.

Arrive by car: our nearest car parks are the NCP Portland Terrace Car Park, the West Quay Multi Storey Car Park and the West Quay Podium Car Park.

Pop in to Swindon

Our Swindon Pop In centre is at 52-54 Regent Street, Swindon SN1 1JS.

Opening hours: 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Arrive by bus: we are a short walk from Regent Circus which is serviced by many bus routes.

Arrive by train: Swindon Railway Station is approximately ten minutes walk away.

Arrive by car:  Granville Street (short stay), Commercial Road and Wyvern Car Parks are all within an easy walk.

Northern Ireland and Wales

Pop in to Belfast

Our Belfast office and Pop In centre can be found at 51-53 Fountain Street, BT1 5EB.

Situated in the city centre, the easiest way to find us is to make your way to City Hall. The street in front of the City Hall is called Donegall Square North and Fountain Street is where Donegall Square North and Wellington Place meet.

Opening hours: 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Arrive by bus: if travelling within Belfast, most Metro bus service finish their route at City Hall, which is very close to our office. For those coming from further afield, the Ulsterbus and Goldline services arrive at Laganside or Europa Bus Centres within the centre of Belfast.

Arrive by train: the office is within walking distance of Great Victoria Street Station and a three minute bus journey from Central Station on a Metro bus.

Arrive by car: the closest car parks are at Castlecourt Shopping Centre on Royal Avenue or College Court Car Park on College Street.

Pop in to Cardiff

Our Cardiff office and Pop In centre can be found at 18/19 High Street, Cardiff CF10 1PT.

Arrive by bus: there are bus stops in Castle Street and Westgate Street, just a short walk away.

Arrive by train: it's approximately ten minutes on foot from Cardiff Central train station.

Arrive by car: the Westgate Street car park is close by.

Not sure where to find your local Legion?

The Legion also has a team of staff and volunteers based at the National Memorial Arboretum, available 364 days a year 9am–5pm. Serving and ex-serving personnel and their families are able to get practical help and advice whilst others can find out about the wide range of services and community activities the Legion can offer. 

As well as our Pop In Centres, our outreach team are based all across the UK – helping you to access the support you need in your community no matter where you are.
