Amazon Partnership

"The Royal British Legion is proud to have a long-standing partnership with Amazon, whose support has played a vital role in helping us honour and support the Armed Forces community.

Poppy Shop during Remembrance Period

Each year, Amazon continues to help amplify our message through a dedicated Poppy Shop section on its platform. In 2024 alone, Amazon-supported Poppy Shop sales generated £960,000, helping ensure the sustainability of our vital work.

This support grows year on year, allowing customers across the UK to show their support during the Remembrance period and beyond.

Supporting London Poppy Day

Amazon plays an active role in London Poppy Day, one of our biggest fundraising events in the UK. Through organised corporate walks and employee participation, Amazon has helped raise over £15,000 to date.

We also work closely with Amazon’s Armed Forces Network, Warriors, whose members volunteer their time during and outside the Remembrance period to fundraise and support the Poppy Appeal. Their continued enthusiasm and commitment reflect a shared dedication to our mission in honouring the Armed Forces community.

In-Kind and Logistical Support

Beyond fundraising, Amazon has consistently supported us through in-kind donations, assisting with the delivery of stock, and ad hoc logistical support throughout the Poppy Appeal, both in London and Manchester.

Additionally, through the now-ended AmazonSmile UK initiative, Amazon has helped raise over £372,000 in donations for RBL between 2017 to 2023.

Through our longstanding partnership with The Royal British Legion, Amazon is proud to support the Armed Forces community. From our Poppy Shop platform to our employees' dedicated volunteering efforts, we're committed to helping the Royal British Legion deliver its vital work across the UK’ – Eugenie Teasley (Head of Impact, Amazon UK)"
