Support this year’s Poppy Appeal

Please select an amount or enter your own. The minimum donation is £1.
£
£5 could help pay for an electricity top up, so a veteran always has electricity.
£10 could contribute to an online course, to help a veteran secure a job.
£25 could support a veteran’s rehabilitation with a place on our arts programme.

The Royal British Legion is here to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. And we’re not going anywhere.

We support serving and ex-serving personnel all year round, every day of the week.

Our support starts after one day of service and continues through life, long after service is over.

How we help ex-servicemen and women

Danni served in the Royal Navy but was medically discharged after an accident where she became trapped underwater.

As a result she now lives with Epilepsy and had a fear of water that meant she couldn’t take her son swimming.

After the death of his wife from cancer, John left his job in the Army to support his young children. Previously a field-based engineer, he has found it difficult adjusting to life as a single parent living on benefits.

Former Royal Marine Nigel served in the Falklands War and struggled with survivor guilt on his return from the conflict.

He turned to RBL for help when he became homeless following the breakdown of his marriage.
