The Royal British Legion is proud to partner with Golden Charter, one of the UK’s largest funeral plan providers*.

Since 2016, Golden Charter and its network of independently owned funeral directors has raised over £940,000 to support our Armed Forces community. We are delighted to continue our collaboration with them as we enter the eleventh year of our partnership.

The independent funeral directors also support RBL by dedicating their own time during Remembrance to create impressive window displays, raising awareness for the RBL, and taking part in individual fundraising activities. In September 2024, Golden Charter’s National Business Manager and an independent Funeral Director undertook the RBL’s Pedal to Paris challenge, raising over £5,000 for the charity.

Ben France, Head of Corporate Partnerships at the Royal British Legion, says:

"I am incredibly proud of our partnership with Golden Charter. It is testament to the dedication and generosity of its network of independent funeral directors that they have now raised over £940,000 for the Royal British Legion. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the campaign so far. The funds raised will make a genuine difference and means the Royal British Legion can be there for the entire Armed Forces community-whatever the need, whenever it’s needed.”
