No experience is necessary - full training will be given by our professional abseilers on the day before your abseil. 

Hardy Monument was built in 1844 in memory of Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Masterman Hardy, Flag Captain of HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. Amongst other things, Hardy became famous as it was in his arms that Nelson died, saying the immortal words 'Kiss me Hardy'. The monument location has spectacular 360° panoramic views of the beautiful Dorset countryside.

Entry fee

The entry fee is £10 per person with a minimum sponsorship of £100 per person.

Participants must be 8 years old or older. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
