Leon Parker was medically discharged from the Army at the age of 20 with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He struggled with everyday life and eventually became homeless. He was living in a tent in the woods with just his dog Misty for company when he finally called the RBL helpline from a phone box.
Thanks to our supporters, we were able to find Leon a home, furnish it, and cover his security deposit and first month’s rent. Now he is working as a chef in a 5-star hotel and loving life.
