RBL Standard Bearers form Guard of Honour at Coronation.
As people across the country and the Commonwealth come together to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, we are honoured to be participating in the Coronation Procession.

RBL members representing Branches from across the country provided a Guard of Honour to line the procession route in Parliament Square.
The Standard Bearers represented the RBL and seven other associated Armed Forces charities: The Royal Navy Association, Royal Marines Association, Army Benevolent Fund, SSAFA, Royal Air Forces Association, Royal Commonwealth and Ex Services League and the Merchant Navy Association.

Among them was Laura Hayworth, a member of RBL for over 20 years. Speaking ahead of the ceremony she said:
“It’s a huge honour not only for ourselves but for the Royal British Legion,” she said.
“We’ve had months and months of preparing, so it's been getting more and more exciting.
“I’m so proud to be part of it, representing my home county of Surrey and carrying the Standard from my local branch in Oxted.”
The Big Help Out
To celebrate his Coronation, King Charles III is inviting everyone to volunteer for their favourite cause as part of The Big Help Out.
Thousands of amazing volunteers across the country help us raise millions of pounds during our annual Poppy Appeal. And in 2023 you can join them!

The official album of the Coronation
We are grateful to have been chosen as one of two charities to recieve proceeds from the release of the official album of the Coronation.
The album will include all music and spoken word from the ceremony and be released on the same day.
