Poppies in a field

Giving family and friends the option to give a gift in lieu of flowers at a funeral is a special way to celebrate the life of a loved one.

Donating in memory is a special way to give a gift and to honour the memory of a loved one. These gifts also have a tremendous impact on the Armed Forces community, supporting those in need which can last longer than flowers.

Our funeral collection envelopes can be given out to your guests or left at the venue – please ensure you get permission from the venue beforehand. Your guests can then donate in memory of your loved one, and easily let us know if their donation is eligible for Gift Aid too.

Request collection envelopes for a funeral or other event.

You can call Supporter Care team on 0345 845 1945 (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm) or email supportercare@britishlegion.org.uk.

If you wish to hold a funeral collection on behalf of RBL, you can also ask family and friends to donate online.

Alternatively, setting up a Tribute Fund in memory of a loved one will enable family and friends to come together to share memories and write messages. You can also let people know about the date of a funeral or other event, or make a gift in memory.

Telephone donations can also be made with a debit or credit card by calling our Supporter Care team.
