Football unites in support of the Poppy Appeal
This November, football clubs across the country will once again show their support for the Royal British Legion by adding the emblem of the poppy to the design of their shirts in fixtures throughout the period of Remembrance.
To help raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal, all of these match-worn & signed shirts will be available to own via online auctions, hosted by our partner MatchWornShirt.
The auctions go live at kick-off, meaning that football fans can start placing their bids from the terraces, their homes or anywhere in the world, while the shirts are still being worn on the pitch. To find out more, visit MatchWornShirt.com.

“The remembrance fixtures represent a special period in the footballing calendar in which sporting rivalries are set aside as people come together from all walks of life to support a greater cause.
“Over the past few years,
we have had the privilege of being able to witness some of the invaluable work carried out by the Royal British Legion first hand which makes it all the more of an honour to be able to support the Poppy Appeal once again this year.
“By
offering new features such as ‘the Draw’ and offering fans an enhanced user experience through our all new app, we're hoping to get more people involved in the campaign than ever before.”
