Hackney Half Marathon

Take on a half marathon in the vibrant heart of East London. The flat route will take you past local sites such as the historic Broadway Market, famous Hackney Town Hall and stunning green spaces. The energetic streets will be filled with cheering crowds, live entertainment and DJs along route.

Join Team RBL to experience a phenomenal half marathon and raise money for our Armed Forces community, to help them lead safe, secure and fulfilling lives.

What's included?

  • a personalised technical running top if you reach £100 in fundraising 4 weeks before the event date

Why run for us?

By taking part and raising funds it will help us provide support for the Armed Forces community. We help ensure that those who have served are not disadvantaged because of the sacrifices they have made.

What will I receive as part of #TeamRBL?

As part of the team you’ll receive:

  • Regular emails with fundraising support and advice to help you smash your target

  • 1-2-1 support from our fundraising team

  • Everyone who raises over £100 will receive an official RBL running vest

When will I receive my Royal British Legion running vest?

Everyone who reaches £100 in fundraising will be sent out a running vest a month before the event.

What fundraising support will I receive?

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive a welcome email containing lots of information and advice about raising money for the Royal British Legion. Posters to publicise your participation in the event and collection pots are also available on request. In addition, RBL team are on hand to support you every step of the way!

How do I go about raising money online?

We’ll include all the information you need in your registration pack when you sign up to the event. You'll also receive a link to set up your online JustGiving page. Please remember to send us the link to your page so we can ensure all donations are credited to you.

Can we fundraise as a team?

Yes. This is very easy online as JustGiving have facilities to set up team pages. Please remember to let us know the link to your page so we can ensure all donations are credited to the team.
