Since 2017, the Royal British Legion has partnered with Cash4Coinsto provide supporters with an easy way to donate leftover foreign coins and banknotes, as well as old British and Irish currency. These otherwise unusable currencies are securely converted into valuable donations, helping to fund the Legion’s ongoing support for the Armed Forces community.
What began as an in-store initiative across Sainsbury’s Bank Travel Money Bureaus has grown into a highly successful fundraising stream. It now includes wider participation through NatWest branches across London and beyond making it easier than ever for the public to contribute.
The partnership continues to raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion year after year. Looking ahead, Cash4Coins is working closely with the charity to explore new and more convenient ways for supporters to donate directly.
