When will I get my t-shirt and medal?
You’ll receive your t-shirt around one month before your Poppy Walk. You’ll be awarded your medal when you cross the finish line by one of our amazing volunteers.
Why isn’t there a poppy walk near me?
We hope to increase the number of Poppy Walks in future years but we have to be careful about how much we spend on new events to ensure that we raise enough money for our veterans, serving personnel and their families. We’re really sorry if there isn’t a Poppy Walk near you. In the future we hope Poppy Walks will spring up across the country. If you would like to organise your own Poppy Walk with your friends and family you can register for one of our My Poppy Walk packs that contain everything you’ll need to make your walk go with a swing.
How much do I have to fundraise?
Registration fees only help to cover the event costs – so fundraising is really important in helping Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their families. We’re asking each adult to raise £50 and get the kids involved to help them.
How can I pay in my fundraising?
The easiest way to fundraise is by setting up a JustGiving Page. Simply visit The Royal British Legion's JustGiving page and click the 'Fundraise for us' button. You can also post a cheque or sponsorship form with your name and the event you’re fundraising for to:

How long is the route?
The course is approximately 10km, but there are plenty of opportunities to stop off at cafes around the route.
