Festival of Remembrance 2026 Ballot

1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the ballot for tickets to the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance 2026 ("Event").

1.2. By entering the ballot, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The ballot is open to individuals who are:

  • Aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
  • Members of the Royal British Legion.

2.2. Each member is allowed to enter the ballot once. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.

2.3. Employees of the Royal British Legion and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the ballot unless they are also a member.

2.4. Legion Scotland members are not eligible to enter, unless they are also a member of the Royal British Legion.

2.5 You are not allowed to transfer your entry to another person.

3. Ballot Entry Form

3.1. The entry will open on Wednesday 27th May 2026 and close at 11.59 PM on Wednesday 24th June 2026 ("EOI Entry Period").

3.2. Entries must be submitted online via the form on the RBL website.

3.3. Late, incomplete, or incorrectly submitted entries will not be accepted.

3.4. No payment or purchase is required to enter the ballot.

4. Ballot Selection Process

4.1. Successful applicants will be selected at random after the ballot period has closed.

4.2. On Wednesday 8th July, the evening ballot will be drawn and entrants informed of the outcome by email. On Thursday 9th July, the afternoon ballot will be drawn and entrants informed of the outcome by email.

4.3. On Wednesday 15th July, the booking site for the evening performance goes live for successful entrants. On Thursday 16th July, the booking site for the afternoon performance goes live for successful entrants. Members have two weeks to purchase tickets.

5. Ticket Allocation and Payment

5.1. Each successful applicant will be entitled to purchase two tickets.

5.2. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged.

5.3. Payment must be completed within two weeks of the date the booking site goes live.

5.4. If a selected applicant does not make payment within two weeks of notification, the ticket(s) will be offered to another applicant.

5.5. Any attempt to sell or transfer tickets may result in cancellation of the ticket(s) without refund.

5.6. Entry to the Event is subject to the terms and conditions of the venue and event organisers.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1. In the event of cancellation of the Event by the Royal British Legion, ticket holders will be notified, and refund information (if applicable) will be provided.

6.2. The Royal British Legion accepts no responsibility for any other costs incurred, including travel or accommodation expenses.

7. Personal Data

7.1. By entering the ballot, you agree that your personal data will be processed by the Royal British Legion and See Tickets for the purposes of administering the ballot and the Event.

7.2. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Royal British Legion's Privacy Policy, available from this link: Privacy Notice.

8. Liability

8.1. The Royal British Legion accepts no responsibility for:

  • Incomplete or inaccurate entries.
  • Technical failures or malfunctions affecting the submission of entries.
  • Loss or damage resulting from the cancellation or rescheduling of the Event and including any losses whether directly or indirectly incurred by you in connection with your application for ballot tickets relating to the Event.

8.2. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

9. Other Rules

9.1. The Royal British Legion reserves the right to modify or terminate the ballot process at any time without notice.

9.2 You agree that you shall not at any time either personally or by other means make any statement or disclose any information to any third party including (without limitation) all media related organisations and on any social media including but not limited to X and Facebook relating to this ballot application, the Event or anything that will put the Royal British Legion into disrepute.

9.3. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Key Dates

  • Wednesday 27th May – Ballot registration form opens.
  • Wednesday 24th June - Ballot registration form closes.
  • Wednesday 8th July - Evening ballot is drawn and entrants informed of the outcome.
  • Thursday 9th July - Afternoon ballot is drawn and entrants informed of the outcome.
  • Wednesday 15th July - Booking site for the evening performance goes live for successful entrants. Members have two weeks to purchase tickets.
  • Thursday 16th July - Booking site for the afternoon performance goes live for successful entrants. Members have two weeks to purchase tickets.
  • Two weeks from the date the booking site goes live - Payment deadline.
  • From Monday 26th October – Tickets posted.
  • Saturday 7th November – Festival of Remembrance 2026
