In this Poppy Press edition, we're commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War by honouring the sacrifice of the 30,000 veterans.
Second World War veteran Ken Judd, 97, is a resident at the Legion’s Galanos House care home which relies on donations from the Poppy Appeal to care for elderly veterans in their times of need.
Nicole Brown is a Trainee Paramedic and Naval Reservist, and during lockdown earlier this year she helped support frontline NHS resources on the road.
Flyle Hussain collects for the Poppy Appeal, and although this year will be different, he’s been working to help organise collections in his local area.
Karl Phillips works in the FP Force in the RAF and in April was part of a team helping to provide additional support to NHS Ambulance crews.
