Pop in at Manchester
Our Pop In advice and information centre is a welcoming space for Service personnel and veterans to get practical help and advice, and for members of the public to find out more about the wide range of services and community activities provided by the Legion.
Our Pop In centre is at 59 Cross Street, Manchester M2 4JW with the area (and regional) office entrance (and postal address) just around the corner on Princess Street.
Open 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Public transport access is easy. Use the instructions below or the directions on the map at the bottom of the page.
There are bus stops in Albert Square and on Princess Street. For more details about buses to the Town Hall please check the Transport for Greater Manchester website or call Traveline on 0871 200 2233 (7am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 8pm at weekends and bank holidays).
By train or Metrolink
If you are travelling to Manchester by train you can get a Metrolink tram from Piccadilly, Victoria and Deansgate train stations to St Peter's Square, which is the nearest Metrolink station to the Town Hall complex.
Please note: If you are using a Sat. Nav. system the geographic post code for the office is M2 4DF. Parking is extremely difficult near the office because of the improvement work going on in and around Central Library and St Peters Square. You may be able to find a pay and display parking bay. There will be more parking in the area when the work finishes in 2014.
There are a number of car parks in Manchester city centre operated by NCP. Contact them on 0845 050 70 80 or visit their website to find out where they are and current charges.
