Bristol Poppy Day

Join us in Bristol to raise money for the Armed Forces community during this year's Poppy Appeal

  • Date

Volunteers, members of the Armed Forces, organisations from across Bristol and local businesses will be supporting the Poppy Day which is the largest one-day street collection in the South West region.

From 6am, collectors will welcome donations at spots all across the city including Temple Meads and Parkway train stations, the bus station and busy public spaces.

If you’ll be stuck in the office, look out for the troop of Range Rovers heading your way! They’ll be dispatching Armed Forces personnel into workplaces across the city to chat to staff and welcome donations.

The crowds in Cabot Circus Shopping Centre will be entertained by a full military band and other live music. We will also be welcoming members of the Armed Forces community we have helped in the past, alongside The Lord Lieutenant and Lord Mayor.

There will also be live entertainment at Bristol Temple Meads, The Galleries Shopping Centre and Debenhams.

Come and join us for some entertainment and to show your support to your Armed Forces.

Supporting the poppy Appeal

The money raised through the Poppy Appeal goes directly to The Royal British Legion’s work providing through life support to anyone who is currently serving in the British Armed Forces, who has previously served, and their families.
