On the 3rd of May 2022, 5 members of the Torrevieja Branch Royal British Legion attended the Royal British Legion District Norths Standard Bearer's Course. Members who took part were: Mick Whitbread, Danny Kay, Geoff Thomas, Keith Devonish and Tony Adams. The Course took place at the Oasis and was run by Terry Murphy District Parade Marshall. On the 26th of May, the Torrevieja Standard Bearer's attended a practice session for the upcoming Queen's Platinum Jubilee Parade of Standars on the 3rd of June 2022. It was also an ideal opportunity to get a photo of the 5 Standard Bearer's with their Course Certificates.
