The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that provides help for our Armed Forces community, through thick and thin, ensuring their unique contribution is never forgotten.  The Legion is the country’s largest Armed Forces charity, with 180,000 members, 110,000 volunteers and a network of partners and charities; helping it to provide support wherever and whenever it’s needed.

It provides lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families.  Legion support starts after one day of service and continues through life, long after service is over.  From providing expert advice and guidance to assisting with recovery and rehabilitation and transitioning to civilian life.  The Charity can be there, every step of the way.  Plus, it’s not just members of the Armed Forces but their families too.  If there is ever a reason why the Legion can't help, their vast network of contacts enables them to put veterans in touch with someone who can.

The Legion is also the national Custodian of Remembrance and safeguards the existing Military Covenant between the nation and its Armed Forces.
