Manchester Poppy Day

Join us in Manchester to raise money for the Armed Forces community during this year's Poppy Appeal

Manchester Poppy Day will see soldiers, cadets, veterans and volunteers join forces to distribute poppies and fundraise across the city centre to help raise money for our Armed Forces community. The annual Poppy Day aims to raise more than £30,000 in one day of collecting for the Poppy Appeal.

The Legion has arranged a number of activities across the city. There will be bucket collections at Manchester Piccadilly, Victoria and Oxford Road train stations, plus music from The Kings Division Band and Cinnamon Dinner Band.

Collectors will be on commuter buses, at railway stations and at iconic locations such as the Coronation Street set and the Trafford Centre. A team of Serving personnel and veterans will be on board a special double-decker bus, which will travel around the city stopping at various offices to collect donations.
