Members of the Legion care about the lives of the Armed Forces family, past, present and future.
Our members don't all have a Service background but they do share comradeship and common goals. They add strength to the impact of our campaigning work; shape the way the charity itself evolves; enjoy concessions, social and sports events; give time to help our beneficiaries and fundraise for the Poppy Appeal. Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Legion. There are lots of ways people help as a volunteer, depending on their circumstances.
Some volunteer throughout the year or just during the Poppy Appeal. Some work with our fundraising teams either on their own event or with their company, group, cadet unit, university or regiment. Other volunteers help our welfare teams, delivering the vital support we provide to the Armed Forces family.
The Legion also relies on a wide range of fantastic supporters to help us raise awareness of our work throughout the year.
