We welcome new Members
Legion Membership is open to everyone who:
- are currently serving (whether regular or reserve)
- have served (including National Servicemen)
- have not served but support the aims of the Legion
Membership
The Legion now has a Single Membership, giving all members equal rights to participate in Branch, County and National decision-making processes of the organisation.
The move to a Single Membership does not change the status of the beneficiary, the person who is the object of our fundraising and benevolence activities. The only people who can benefit from our funds remain the members of the Service and ex-Service community who are in need.
Benefits of Legion Membership
- Social and sporting activities at local branches and clubs, nationwide, year-round.
- Access to a wide range of Legion exclusive services and discount schemes.
- Free subscription to Legion magazine.
- The opportunity to become involved in the Poppy Appeal and Remembrance activities.
- The opportunity to get actively involved in the local community as a Welfare caseworker, looking after the needs for ex-Service men and women and their dependants.
- The opportunity to get involved in ceremonial activities and train as a Standard Bearer.
