Just decide where and when to picnic, then invite people along. Anytime throughout the summer is fine.
Before anyone tucks in, make sure they donate £3 each – you can include a free drink or tasty treat. Then ask for contributions to food, games and any fun you organise on the day.
When you register, we'll send you a free picnic pack which includes invitations, posters, stickers, picnic bingo cards and more. Use the links on the right to download extra copies.
Remember to let all your friends and family know about your Poppy Picnic – Facebook and Twitter are also great ways to spread the news. Keep an eye on our updates at Poppy Legion on Facebook or Twitter (@PoppyLegion) and don’t forget to use #poppypicnic.

Sponsored rounders match: get together with a group of friends and organise a game of rounders, a great way to spend a summer afternoon in the park, and everyone knows the rules!
Apple bobbing: number underneath the apples and you can bob for prizes! This could be a fun alternative to a raffle or you could give a prize for the faster bobber in the west.
Egg and spoon race: if you like a little bit of competition but nothing too serious, how about egg and spoon, three-legged, space hopper or sack races? There are lots of other silly races you can organise: high on fun, laughter and money-raising potential.
How many sweets in the jar? Jellybeans in a jar is a popular choice but you can let your imagination run wild this one.
Or if it's easy, use one of these alternate methods.
