In 2020 we'll continue to make sure the voice of the Armed Forces community is heard. And we need your continued support, because our work is ongoing.

As we look back on this year, we extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you. Everything we do depends on the dedication of our volunteers, supporters, members and partners. It is your efforts that meant we were able to make sure the voice of the Armed Forces community was heard in 2019.

We are the Royal British Legion, and our work is ongoing.

Stop the service charge

No one likes an unexpected bill. In 2019 we campaigned to stop Commonwealth soldiers serving in the UK Armed Forces from facing unfair charges. In 2020 our campaign continues, because our work is ongoing.

Diversity matters

That's why we opened a LGBTQ+ branch in 2019, supporting the whole Armed Forces community.

Dementia can affect all of us - and the Armed Forces community is no different.

In 2019 we provided award-winning dementia-friendly care homes for ex-serving personnel, and support for their families. In 2020 we’ll continue to give our veterans the support they deserve, because our work is ongoing.

We all need help with life's challenges.

In 2019 we helped soldiers battle back from injury and mental scars to open new doors through our rehabilitation programmes. In 2020 we'll continue to help, because our work is ongoing.
