Nicole Brown is a Trainee Paramedic and Naval Reservist, and during the first national lockdown last year she helped support frontline resources on the road.
Nicole, 25, from Birmingham has been a Naval Reservist for almost three years.
Based at HMS Forward in Birmingham, she is a student paramedic in her civilian life and is currently at the training centre of the West Midlands Ambulance Service.
During the initial lockdown earlier in the year, Nicole and her fellow trainees were out on the road to help bolster frontline resources.

"Being out on the road was a real eye opener, but it allowed me to gain exposure during my training stage and my Royal Navy training really aided me whilst I was out supporting colleagues under pressure."
Nicole decided to join the Navy whilst studying for her nursing qualification, wanting to take the opportunity to challenge herself even further.
"I was really drawn to the Royal Navy’s core values and the opportunity to develop new skills during my training," she says.
"I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything the Navy has had to offer so far, it combines my passions to take on new challenges, meet new people and push myself further than I thought possible.
