Men’s Sheds and the Royal British Legion have partnered to help Sheds get more recognition as great places for people from the Armed Forces Community to access.
Sheds are spaces where people can share, use and learn practical skills to work on personal projects, or tasks for others, which often benefit the local community. Sheds are informal places to chat with others over a cup of tea and make new friends.
This partnership will support Royal British Legion Care Homes to develop their own Men’s Sheds for their residents or community, champion the work Sheds are already doing with Veterans, and help to link existing Sheds with the RBL in their areas,
if they would like.
