The Royal British Legion is proud to have the support of the Premier League and its clubs for the Poppy Appeal.

Premier League clubs come together to pay tribute to the Armed Forces community and support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Clubs from across the country wear the poppy on their shirt as a sign of respect.

The Premier League has been supporting the Legion since 2012, and has so far raised £3.35 million pounds for the charity since the partnership began.

Our Armed Forces have always been – and always will be - committed to protect us, our freedoms and our way of life.

The Armed Forces community make unique sacrifices and contributions despite having never met us and the RBL supports them and their families both during and after their service. Every donation to the RBL’s Poppy Appeal helps us continue to provide vital support to veterans, serving personnel and their families – we’re there for them for the whole of their lives.

Ben France, Head of Corporate Partnerships at The Royal British Legion said: "We are extremely grateful for the support that Premier League clubs and the football community show the Poppy Appeal every year.

"Wearing a poppy shows serving personnel, veterans and their families their service and sacrifice means something to you and will never be forgotten.”
