Change a life today

Everyone remembers a day that changed their life. For Service people like Stewart and Pete, that day was devastating. Today, you can help The Royal British Legion support their ongoing recovery.

By setting up a regular donation, you can help give those who have served the support they need to rebuild their lives. We will stand by them every step of the way, providing the physical, emotional and practical support they need to help them and their families to live on. We can only do it with your help.

Please make a donation now to support our vital welfare work and help our Armed Forces community to live on.

Support our work

Private Stewart Harris returned from Afghanistan at 28 with life changing injuries: brain damage and partial loss of sight and hearing.

The Royal British Legion stepped in when he returned home, paying for state-of-the-art hearing aids, providing financial advice and assistance, including helping him out with food vouchers and helping him sort out his Army pension.

An IED in Afghanistan left Royal Marine Pete Dunning living his life as a double amputee. He also suffered a fractured spine and punctured lung.

The Legion helped to fund adaptions in Pete’s home to give him his independence back. We also helped him to go back to work, get on with his life and look forward to the future again.

We can only offer lifelong support to our Armed Forces family with your ongoing help.
