Poppy Appeal

The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, the period of Remembrance. This year, join us as we mark the end of the WW1 centenary by saying Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.

Your local Poppy Day

Poppy Appeal Collection BoxOur main fundraising events during the Poppy Appeal are all about bringing communities together to fundraise and enjoy themselves in the process.

Numerous cities across the country dedicate a day to distributing poppies and getting the public involved through activities and entertainment.

This year, Poppy Days are taking place in London, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham.

Poppy Runs

Join us for Poppy Runs taking place around the country, throughout October and November. Choose to run, jog or walk the course – the event is open to all ages and abilities, including four legged friends.

By taking part and fundraising you’ll help veterans in the Forces’ community gain the skills and self-belief to transform their lives as they recover from physical and mental challenges.

Remembrance

The Legion works to ensure that the people of the United Kingdom remember all those who have lost their lives on active service to the Crown, and honours the service of the Armed Forces and veterans, and the contribution of their families – our beneficiary community.
