Stowmarket Remembers Exhibition at Museum of East Anglian Life (13 October - 11 November)
The ‘Stowmarket Remembers’ exhibition will be displayed in Abbot’s Hall Barn from the 13 October – 11 November 2018.
Stowmarket Remembers has been created by the Royal British Legion to mark the end of the First World War centenary. Five local primary schools and a home education group have been involved in the arts, crafts and literary project.
As well as the work by the pupils, the exhibition also includes the unveiling of a poppy curtain, the result of 5000 poppies knitted by members of the community.
The exhibition is free to visit and will be open during normal museum opening hours Monday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm, with the exception of the 4th and 5th November when the museum is closed.
