Ferndown

Welcome to the Ferndown Branch of The Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion is the UK's leading Armed Forces charity and one of its largest membership organisations. Members get together through the network of branches and clubs  ( https://rblferndown.org/ ) all over the country and overseas to participate in social, fundraising and welfare activities.

The Branch Committee

The Branch Committee usually meets on the first Tuesday of every second month. Our main aim is liaising with local councils to arrange the Remembrance Parades and Poppy wreath laying. The Committee also raises money for the Poppy appeal.

Our Standard Bearers provide assistance/training for the Military Cadet Forces.

About The Royal British Legion

The Legion provides information, advice and guidance.

Our local case officers provide general and crisis support.  Regional specialist advisers help serving personnel and veterans seeking career and vocational advice and assist with War Pension Appeals and Armed Forces compensation claims. We also help people seeking money, benefits and debt advice; provide legal advice for inquests and help the carers of veterans (or their dependants) with dementia who are living at home.
