Join us during Poppy Appeal - perfect if you only have a few hours

We need you on our team in the lead-up, during and after the Poppy Appeal. And the earlier you let us know, the better.

Each year our campaign starts in late October and ends on Remembrance Sunday and you can help us in all sorts of ways. Join the team now!

Join our army of collectors

There's always space for more collectors on our team and we need you to help us provide as many opportunities as possible for people to wear a poppy.

We ask for a minimum of two hours and we'll normally put you in touch with the volunteer who organises the Poppy Appeal in the area you want to collect in. Our Poppy Appeal Organisers are volunteers too so they may take a little while to get back to you, especially if you're getting in touch close to or during the Appeal dates.

Collecting for us is easy and anyone can do it - you don't have to be a Legion member. You do need to be over 16 to collect on your own but you can collect for us with your group, university, company or regiment too.

Help us behind the scenes

Making sure the Poppy Appeal is a success is a big job and we need your help to make sure it all goes to plan.

We need: 

• drivers with their own cars to deliver and pick up poppy boxes from shops and offices
• office volunteers to help us respond to calls and emails
• counting team members to help us count and bank the money we collect
• poppy centre volunteers to help us give out tins and poppies to our collectors (London only)

You only need a couple of hours spare to help us and your time would be invaluable in making sure the Poppy Appeal goes smoothly in your area.
