Big Bike Ride - Portsmouth 2010

Thank you to everyone who participated in The Royal British Legion's Big Bike Ride 2010.

The Royal British Legion in partnership with Portsmouth City Council hosted another bike ride this year on Sunday 27 June as part of Armed Forces Day. 

The Big Bike Ride was free to join and there were three different routes catering for the everyone from the serious ones to the little ones, all taking in the sights of Portsmouth and starting and finishing at Southsea Common.

There was also a fantastic cycling festival at the start / finish point at Castlefield featuring training sessions, free bike tune ups, free bike try-outs, a vintage cycle display and stunt demonstrations. Lots of fabulous entertainment for the whole family. 

Entry was free but participants were asked to raise some sponsorship for the incredibly important work of The Royal British Legion.
