Share giving
The giving of shares to The Royal British Legion not only helps the serving and ex-Service men and women of this country - it can also offer significant tax advantages. The shares you give will be exempt from any capital gains tax, and the donor may claim tax relief for the value of the shares and any associated costs of transfer, such as broker's fees.
