We only use audited coach companies, and our suppliers are chosen for their experience in providing the travel arrangements for school groups. Pick up and drop off at your school is arranged on all our coach travel inclusive tours.
All itineraries are planned to ensure that the strict EU regulations governing driving hours are observed at all times.
For travel to France, Belgium and the Netherlands. we arrange either Eurotunnel crossings between Folkestone and Calais, or short sea ferry crossings between Dover and Calais - whichever best suits your tour itinerary.
For tours in Italy, Germany and Poland, we offer flights from a wide range of regional airports, so you can select the airport closest to your school. We will supply a choice of times, costs and airlines that best suit your itinerary and budget. Please note that for all flight-inclusive tours, The Royal British Legion is acting as agent for Newmarket Air Holidays Ltd, ATOL 2325.
Travel within cities may be quicker and cheaper when using public transport. If you book a flight-inclusive itinerary, we will discuss the best means of getting around your destination with you, when planning your trip.

We arrange accommodation in good standard hotels, that are experienced in and enjoy welcoming school groups. We use many of them on a regular basis, and all properties are audited to ensure they meet the necessary health and safety standards.
We will provide you with a precise breakdown of the rooms available for your group, to enable you allocate students to their rooms prior to departure.
If you would prefer to stay in a hostel, then we are able to arrange this at some destinations – simply let us know and we can then make the booking at your request.
After a day's learning and discussion, everyone will benefit from a relaxing evening. We can help you put together an evening programme that includes simple activities, such as quizzes and games, or for the more adventurous, bowling or eating out at a local restaurant.
