February 10th 1944 my late fathers brother was listed as missing presumed killed on HMS Verdun. His name was Jimmy Clarke, he would have been in his late teens/early 20's, and we now understand he was lost overboard and that he is listed on the Chatham Naval Memorial. We would like to try and find out roughly where the ship was, and its duties, on Feb 10th 1944. Ships logs appear to have been lost at some point since it was scraped in 1946.
