(RAF Central Gunnery School) Sgt Waddington was the only survivor of a crash near Apeldoorn. Crewmembers were: P/O David Johnson, W/O Oldrich Jambor, F/Sgt Josiah Connor, F/Lt Hector Batten and F/Sgt John MeLean. April 16th there will be a commemoration at the Heidehof cemetry in Ugchelen, Holland.
