together with sgt Butlin he survived a crash after being shot down near Apeldoorn (Holland). Crew: Camburn, Hawkins, Hendry, Jardne and Dubetz (all Sgt's). On april 16th there will be a comm. at Heidehof cemetry in Ugchelen.
