Our 11-11-11-11 display in Wootton Bassett

Repatriations of fallen troops from the conflict in Afghanistan travelled from RAF Lyneham through Wootton Bassett from 2007 until August 2011. During this time, hundreds of Royal British Legion members, veterans, shopkeepers and residents lined the streets to pay their respects as each cortege passed.

The 11-11-11-11 formation will be situated in the grounds of Lydiard House & Park, Lydiard Tregoze, Swindon SN5 3PA.

It will be placed in association with our Field of Remembrance at the same location which will be officially opened on Friday 11 November and open to the public until Sunday 20 November.

Directions by car: There are brown signs to Lydiard House from J16 on the M4 or from West Swindon.

Directions by bus/train: Thamesdown Transport No 1 and 1A (destination must be Middleleaze or Ramleaze) run frequently from Fleming Way, 5 minutes walk from Swindon Station.
