If you've been bereaved as a result of Service, the inquiry and inquest (or fatal accident inquiry in Scotland) can be a daunting prospect. The Legion can support you through the complicated process of an inquiry and inquest after a bereavement in what is already a difficult and painful time.

The Legion’s Independent Inquest Advice service provides free, independent and expert legal advice and assistance for the families of those who've died in Service, including Reservists on active Service.

We can be with you every step of the way - advice and support are provided by our experienced solicitors at all stages of the investigation. If necessary, we can also refer you to specialist lawyers and other agencies.
