Group 2- Avonvale

The branches which comprise Group 2 are centred on the historic market town of Pershore which is situated on the banks of the River Avon, a location for boating and touring holidays in South Worcestershire and the nearby Cotswolds.

Within a few miles downstream from Pershore, the Avon meets the River Severn at the historic town of Tewkesbury with its lovely Abbey, old half-timbered buildings and countless alleyways. This is also a well known tourist centre in North Gloucestershire.

The only branch to have its own club within the Group was Pinvin but regretably, this has suffered as many other clubs have and had to close due to lack of support.
