Recruiting Around The County
Rugby No 1 May Bank Holiday
After consulting the County Recruiting Officer for advice
The Chairman and Committee of Rugby No 1 Branch decided to go out
to the local May Day Celebrations in Rugby and recruit and to make
people aware that they were open for new members

They borrowed a gazebo from the County Office and The County
Recruiting Officer gave them the leaflets and displays
that they needed to put on an impresive and informative
display

The Chairman Ian Boulton and Branch Member Peter Penney tells me
that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and met new people and had
some interest in people joining the Branch and managed to raise
£84.00 for the Branch funds.

Kenilworth at the Royal Show

Warwickshire Royal British Legion at Kenilworth
Show
Royal Leamington Spa branch RBL ran a stand at the Kenilworth
Agricultural show on Saturday 5th June. With help
from the County Office and use of the county recruiting team's
stand they put on an impressive display. They ran a tombola
and had collecting buckets at the ready. It was a very hot
day and although the bucket collection was below expectations, the
presence at the show was beneficial nonetheless. Many thanks
to the Leamington Branch for their efforts.
