Poppies falling at the Festival of RemembranceThis annual Festival, held at the Royal Albert Hall, commemorates and honours all those who have lost their lives in conflicts, and is both a moving and enjoyable evening. There is a matinee (2pm) and an evening performance - both are exactly the same except that the Royal Family attend only the evening performance.

For tickets

Tickets for the evening performance are distributed by ballot to Legion members.

To apply for tickets for 2012 you must be a Legion member and apply through your local Branch. Each Branch is allowed a maximum of Four Tickets and not all Branches will be lucky in securing them due to County Allocation.

Most Branches send in applications from those that attend the Branch Meetings !! so to be in with a chance Please go along to your Branch Meetings.

Applications for tickets that are sent to Direct to County Office will be forwarded to the Branch to deal with and will delay any processing.

The BBC usually show highlights of the performance on BBC1 and broadcast on Radio 2.  Please check your local guides or the BBC website for details.
