Events Organisers - Join our team of Events Organisers during 2012 and form your own committee or be a part of your local committee to bring The Poppy Appeal into your local community! Events Organisers need to be available for a 1 hour meeting once every few weeks and more often nearer the event. You will be keen to go the extra mile, be organised and committed to the event you're assisting.

Poppy Appeal Campaigners - we need willing hands to distribute Poppy Appeal and Legion Welfare materials such as posters and information leaflets to local distribution points. This helps to raise awareness of The Royal British Legion and recruit new volunteers

Recruitment Officer - are you a people person? Are you a great communicator? Could you organise a recruitment stand at a local supermarket, shopping centre or community hall specifically to recruit new volunteers for The Poppy Appeal? We need you!

Poppy Appeal Collectors - Join our team of Poppy Appeal collectors this autumn. The 2010 Appeal runs from 30 October - 14 November and we need collectors across the capital. This can mean devoting as little as 2 hours of your time.

You can collect in places across South Wales, but volunteers are especially needed to cover Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Wrexham.

We also need volunteers to help at the Two Minutes Silence event in Millennium Square, Swansea on the morning of 11 November.

Office Volunteering - We have a number of great volunteering opportunities both throughout the year and during the Poppy Appeal. We are flexible with timing and also try and tailor the jobs to your skills to ensure you have both an enjoyable and worthwhile experience with us.

3 Month Fundraising Internships - Fundraising and admin volunteers, and saturday volunteering.

Work alongside the Fundraising Team during the lead up to and throughout the Poppy Appeal, providing Fundraising and Administration support. These roles can lead to great opportunities, working on our PR, Website, Social Media sites and much more.

Basecamp Volunteers - join our basecamp team for a unique opportunity to work at the centre of Cardiff's Poppy Appeal. Our special Basecamp Volunteers work with us in our busy office over the campaign period making sure that our collectors are supported and the Poppy Appeal runs as smoothly as possible. Whether you only have one day to spare, or you can join us for the whole campaign, we'd love to have you on our team.

Ad Hoc Volunteering for our Events - Throughout the year we regularly offer volunteering spots helping at events across Wales. This can be anything from being a marshall to selling raffle tickets or even posing in recruitment adverts for more volunteers.
