Revised Procedures for the Election of County Chairmen and Vice Chairmen

Branch Secretaries are reminded that the closing date for nominations for county chairman and county vice chairman is fast approaching; they must be at the County Office no later than 1700hrs on the 12th September 2011 (ie. the 2nd Monday).

Branch Account Forms

Branch Treasurers will shortly be receiving from Haig House one copy of the Branch Account Form for 2010-11, which on completion must be sent to the County Officer (not Haig House). You are reminded that this form must be accompanied by a copy of the bank statement covering the accountancy period before it can be processed. There is no longer a requirement to send more than one copy to the County Office; however, branches will wish to keep a copy for their own records.  Should this be a problem please contact the undersigned.

Amendments to Management Handbook

Branch Secretaries will have recently received from Haig House amendments and additions to the Management Handbook.  I understand that that a new index is in the process of being printed - then distributed.

County Festival of Remembrance

The County Festival of Remembrance will be held on the 22nd October 2011 at the Severn Theatre, Shrewsbury at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the box office.

2012 Church Parades

Branches are asked to advise the County Office of dates they propose to hold their Church Parades in 2012 by 5th December 2011 - if possible.

2012 County Handbook

Attached is the form for amending the County Handbook for 2012, which I ask be returned to the County Office by 5th December 2011. Please note that all the details you provide will be printed in a public document (form only sent direct to branch secretaries).
