Women's Section Branches

The Women's Section:

Promotes the Welfare, by charitable means, of men and women who have served and of the widows, children and dependants of those who have served in our Navy, Army, Air Force and Auxiliary Forces, or in the Mercantile Marine afloat in hostile waters, or any member of Voluntary Aid Societies (i.e. St. John Ambulance etc.) who has served full-time and served in the Home Guard for at least three months, or who were awarded the Defence Medal in respect of service in the Home Guard or in a Bomb and Mine Disposal Unit.

Raises funds for the Women's Section Schemes.

Helps raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Sustaining the memory of all who died in the service of their country and encourage the spirit of comradeship in the ex-Service community.
