The Welsh Field of Remembrance

 

The official opening of the Welsh Field of Remembrance will take place on Wednesday November 9th at 11am.The Welsh Field of Remembrance is situated in Cardiff Castle, Castle Street CF10 3RB. It will open to visitors daily from 9am Wednesday 9th until 4pm Friday 19th November. Please arrive early for the official opening service.

 

Directions by train and bus:

 

Cardiff Central Station is located just 10 minutes away. Local bus services X2, 96 and 96A stop outside the Castle.

 

The response last year was overwhelming with over 11,000 personalised Remembrance tributes planted at the Welsh National Field of Remembrance. Dedications were received from families; friends and comrades who's loved ones had served their country.
